How to Use Self-Adhesive PVC Film on Furniture Surfaces:
Step 1: Prepare the Surface
- Clean: Wipe with a cloth and mild detergent. Dry completely.
Step 2: Measure and Cut
- Measure: Use a tape measure for the surface.
- Cut: Cut the film slightly larger than needed.
Step 3: Peel and Stick
- Peel: Start peeling the backing paper from one corner.
- Stick: Align and stick the film to the surface.
Step 4: Smooth Out Air Bubbles
- Smooth: Use a squeegee from center to edges.
- Reposition: Lift and adjust if needed.
Step 5: Trim the Edges
- Trim: Use a utility knife or scissors for excess film.
Step 6: Optional Wet Application
- Mist: Lightly spray water on the adhesive side.
- Apply: Smooth and trim as usual.
Step 7: Finishing Touches
- Press: Ensure all edges are firmly pressed.
